A new painting that I did for my older sister. It started off as a speed painting, but I really liked the direction it was going and decided to develop it further. This was about maybe four hours of work.
Just started doing speed painting on Friday. I usually micromanage every aspect of a painting whenever I work on one, which always leads to.. well... disappointing results. I finally decided to try something completely different and keep everything really loose from beginning to end... I'm really happy with the results.
The video was too large to upload to blogspot, so I put it up on vimeo. I used some open-source video capture software called CamStudio to record the rig test.
